I may miss reading the board over the next month

Going away and maybe no WiFi but not such a great loss seeing some people making a right mess of everything.

At least the weather looks promising.

Where an I going, where else, some of the best beeches around. Good grub and hopeful good cycling. 20 days booked the other 10 or so ??

Allan, what's that you are saying about my home town ? Well, I have to agree with you... South Shields has never been the same since I left. Nice beach though and of course the curry and fish and chip shop on Ocean Road.

Visiting Tyneside ?

It’s very rare that we got up to Tyneside these days. Shields only for a curry but it’s been 3 years since there.

Newcastle centre rarely, Metro centre once a year as a bike shop close by and that’s not now very good.

We tend to go to York as 22 miles away and a Park and Ride into the centre easy.

A heavy day for me loading car and fitting bike rack plus bike.

Picked up caravan and then a 2 1/2 + hours drive none stop. Not done that for a long time. I would have liked to have a break North of Newcastle but starting to get dark so pushed on.

Very very pleased that I managed everything today, that dose of flu took a hell of a lot out of me.

Just managed to set up caravan before dark but finished by torch light. Dashed into Seahouses for fish and chips at Lewis’s.

Two portions could have fed 4, had to bin a lot.

Pleased to find that they have just about finished the Western bypass at Team Vally.

Rest day tomorrow after final sort out of caravan and find where I’ve hidden stuff in the car
