Our Homebase store now gone

I was in it two weeks ago almost empty but yesterday as passing it’s gone and looks like building being altered.

Another on e bits the. Dust.

Homebase entered Admin last year and some sites sold to CDS Group and converted to The Range others to B&Q.
Some will not reopen. I have to say that it was never a star attraction for me!

Our local Homebase was always such a depressing place to visit it, like many other Homebase Stores, is now closed, I think I read that The Range was going to open, will that be better, I have my doubts.

The Range has a bigger selection of products, it's not brilliant but it's not as depressing as Homebase which I found cold and soulless and nit particularly welcoming.

Our store was pretty good but I mainly got my bottled gas from it.
