Massive earthquake in Myanmar buildings coming down in Bangkok wich is about a thousand miles away.

Been to Myanmar (burma) great people nice country stayed in yangong (rangoon) .my wife's uncle was killed on the road to mandalay WW11 we went to visit his grave at mektyla cemetery. the people were so helpful .our taxi driver was a hospital surgeon but not allowed to practice by the army government

The USA has a building technique that does work. They've built skyscrapers on beds of oil. It lessens shock waves and the building compresses it so it doesn't actually float. I watched the news and maybe the world can learn from that. Every building moves especially as we build higher. If they didn't, they'd fracture.

The USA is not as prone to Earth Quakes as Japan, perhaps a look at Japanese High rise building techniques would offer some insight.
