I just don’t understand how voters are mad enough to vote for this person who has such extreme views, what on earth have his views to do with local issues, this is a look into how these invaders are taking over control of our life, it is extremely frightening and very worrying.

This is where allowing multi culture in our country has let to this. America is a country of immigrants but all will say they are Americans and proud. Some areas in the UK are not happy to see a white face. Allowing these protesters in London are a disgrace, but as the mayor is in charge of the Met Police it seems it’s allowed.

Inevitable Liz.
Representing a religion in a ward dominated by people of a similar faith will inevitablty bring such a result!
And it will increase as Islam doninates certain areas.
Nothing new. Folk have voted Labour or Tory for years withouth thought for the candidates qualities or policies despite their policies so it is just as mad as that! North Tyneside comes to mind!
Happily though it is my belief that not all Muslims display the charactoristics of the person referred to.

That is very true Mac, I don’t understand it though especially for local issues, I remember a number of years ago when we lived in Hertfordshire, despite the fact I was a Tory voter, at times it did vote for the local Lib Dem man he was extremely good on getting things done that were essential for the local community, he always listened, returned calls that kind of thing, there is no way I would consider voting Lib Dem in General Elections as their policies are totally from cloud cookoo land.

Well said Sheila.
Totally agree that the people who migrated to the USA all wanted to be Americans.
A lot of migrants that come here to the UK have no intention of being British.
The saying 'When in Rome do as the Roman's do' rarely happens here.
We still see women in shopping areas eg the Metro Centre dressed as if they are in Afghanistan.

I agree with all that Norman .....my point is that electing people with particular views in particular "wards" will inevitably throw up these situations and they will increase!
And yes the dress thing annoys me intensly especially the head to toe black things that the women wear but in our History our forbears wore western dress in the countries they colonised....Sauce for the goose?

We have to move forward, not always looking back to when we ruled colonies. I worked for a group of scientists (Admin) two who were Indian. There wore western dress to work, but still had beautiful sari’s for special occasions. They celebrated their religion and it was interesting to me. We seem to just hear negatives from most Muslim communities.
