The missing part of Bob Noble's 'Cogitating' tale
Posted by Norman on 3/5/2025, 11:26 am
Recently Bob mistakenly posted 2 copies of the second pages of his 'Cogitating story' , and today I received the first page. So here is the FULL story. I think I might excuse Bob , because after all he is 97 . Hope you enjoy his little story. I keep telling him he is marvellous for his age.
Re: The missing part of Bob Noble's 'Cogitating' tale
Thank you Norman., Bob Noble what can I say but a HUGE THANK YOU for your comments, you just walked me down an almost forgotten path to my child hood and youth full days in South Shields. You britened my day reminding me of the happiest days of my life, unlike the tryhing times we now live in, little possessions wilingly shared with neighbours and friends, a simple day by day living with no distractions other than where was the next meal coming from.As you stated the world is shrinking and we must look forward BUT the memories of a simpler time cannot be praised. Thank you for sharing Bob, stay in good health my friend, If I'm extremely lucky some day I will catch up with you age wise. One foot on the green side Geordieboy.
