If our M.P.’s are the best of us
What does that say about the rest of us ?
It doesn’t seem to make much sense
Are we really all that dense ?
This sorry,sad and squabbling band
Reputed to be the finest in the land
Make pie chrust promises
To those who select them
Then renege on their vows
Once we elect them

Good one John.
The MPs & Councillors aren't the brightest though.
We are probably brighter and they are the pushy ones that think they are superior.
Just look at this lot Governing us now. Not a goodun among them

Had the utmost respect for Steve Hepburn, the current MP is a total waste of space but getting very well paid for being useless!
