Thank you Norman for a very enjoyable trip through Newcastle, this is about the time I left, I recognized so many of the places and I'm sure many don't even exsist anymore, but things were changing even then,I only left for one year, feeling I needed a change, never expecting it to be the rest of my life, but you never forget your roots, ever.

Takes my memory back to the early 1960’s. I don’t think I ever missed a Saturday shopping in Newcastle, mostly for something new for the Oxford, every Saturday night. Happy memories.
