Just read a letter in a newspaper from a 28 year old who proudly claims he has never worked and why should people complain as it is his Human Right not to work if he doesn’t want too ! No wonder I am still paying Income Tax at 85 to support people like him !

Mac, with some people it's the family business, I remember a community worker telling me she'd come across families where 3 generations had never worked. It's nothing new but still isn't good.

Unfortunately it is, more or less, a way of life now, the I want brigade but others must pay. Successive governments have and, still are, encouraged this by constantly paying benefits to people to stay at home and not find work. I remember when I first left school there was a system in place whereby you were offered 3 jobs if, for some reason or another, you refused the jobs you did not receive any benefit, not so these days benefits for all, isn’t life grand???

This kind if think really annoys us, so why dont the people we appoint as MP's not feel exactly the same and do something about it??
No wonder half the Middle East & Africa want to come here.

There's still a system to penalise shirkers but they shirkers know how to work the system and it's always been the case. There's a hard-core of those who will never work.

Towards the end of my working life I did a contract at 7days x 18 hrs. At the same time I had a cousin who was a proverbial state bum. He bragged about it. Somebody had to pay high tax etc to keep him and did I let him know!...

A lot of Unions help people to get benefits. Someone told me his relatives, a family in London of Irish Origin get benefits money thrown at them,( his words) they call them to tell them they are allowed money for taxis as they don’t drive. He is furious about it, as he pays a lot of tax. We are providing cash for most of the world. Remember a TV programme following a young Romanian guy as he came to England to register his third child. He then went to a cash point drew out more than one hundred pounds and flashed it at the camera, saying Thank you Engerland( his pronounced English).

Sheila, a sub postmaster we used to know told us that various eastern Europeans would come in for thir benefit draw it out put it in an envelope and send it home to relatives so they could afford to cone across.
