Kings Birthday Honour's list

I think it's about time that these should be scrapped, the same with Prime Ministers Honours, it's getting a joke now the dart player Luke Littler MBE. Like I have said in a previous post all actors, sports people and musicians are doing a job the love doing not like the average working person. Yes a lot of those so called lucky people do raise money for charities but all the hard work is done by backroom staff. I'm not sure and I think it was Mac C that said the average person raising money for charity does not expect to be awarded a Honour from the King or Prime Minister. My little rant for the day.

I totally agree Thomas.
Ordinary people do good things & dont expect to be rewarded.
Giving knighthoods to people like the useless London Mayor and now MBE's to a Darts Player who's only been around 5 mins is disgusting.

I was with Macmillan Cancer Fund raising team where I met old folk who had given their time for decades without even a thankyou,- then some bright spark changed the logo wording on tee-shirts, fleeces etc, where thousands were scrapped. That sickened us all in Hartlepool.

The current Honours System is a joke, it rewards people who are very well paid for doing their job, some not very well but ignores genuine people who do charity and voluntary work without expectation of reward, typical examples this time is The Mayor of London, Chief Executive of the border Farce (Not a misspelling and a Darts Player.
