Apparently my paternal grandfather who I never knew was the Stationmaster at Hebburn.

That waiting room! the late Ed Nesbitt and I would often get a warm in there after school in the winter.!

Don’t know if that is the same Eddie Nesbitt who worked for me in Swans, if so sorry to hear he is no longer with us !

Mac I think it could be. Ed worked all over the world and was concert chairman at the Neon Club as well. He contracted asbestosis a few years ago but sadly passed away. A great lad. He lived near the Clock Hotel but most of his life in Hegeley Rd

Would I be right in saying Eddie was a loftsman in Hawthorn Leslie?
