My Windows 10 Laptop updated yesterday

I dont like too much change.

Yesterday I allowed Windows 10 to update & it looks completely different & confusing.
For example I have always been able to copy & paste a photo in seconds , but not now until I can try to fathom it out.

Just found out that the update was to install Windows 11.
I now have to figure out how to copy and paste photos etc.
I also need to find out how to rezize a photo in the 'Paint' programme. Ive rezized for years & now I cant,

Thanks Bill,
BUT, all support for Windows 10 is stopping soon. Is it to force people to upgrade ?.
I'd rather have 10 but not sure whats best if theres going to be no support.

Good until Oct 2025. This will at least let you look into Win 11 and not be surprised like you were today.

A few years ago I heard really bad things about Windows 8, not liking change I programmed my computer to remain on Windows 7, first my purposes it works well for me!!!

Yes, no point in going back to Windows 10 as end of support is in October. If your older PC or laptop wont get the free Windows 11 upgrade then we have to buy a new PC/laptop. I was not going to pay £300/£400 or more for a new one. I bought a second laptop for £200. A Lenovo touch screen, very fast and ideal for my needs.
Norman, there is a photo editor I've used for years, works with W7/10/11. It's free and is easy to use. Will resize, edit, convert and do all the basic things you need to do. It's called Phoxo. It's a tiny package , only 5mb so doesn't take up much space.
