Robins for remembrance Ravens for regrets Swallows for reunions Magpies bring upsets Pigeons for a party Wagtails for a wake A bunch of crows You’ll come to blows Warblers for a wedding cake Cast your crumbs upon the garden You may find your fortune told And if it’s just an old wives tale - At least the dice were rolled
