UK needs

to get he UK out of it's present state it needs a strong leader who can get things done!! Someone like Maggie Thatcher though hated in the North East, she got England out of it's mess and made it a world power..

Have to agree with you Colin, we need a Maggie Thatcher person who will stand up for the Country, we haven’t really had a Leader like that since she left office, we have had too many weak people, Theresa May was terrible, Tony Blair was a disgrace, Boris had a bit going first him, Sunak should have been better, far too much to be said about Starmer who is totally and utterly useless he never knows what anything is, sits on the fence all of the time and is a traitor to the country.

Forgot to mention Cameron he was ineffective, as h3 said he was the ‘heir to Blair’ if I had been him I think I would have just kept quiet, Gordon Brown totally wrecked the Pensions that this country had.

I agree Liz and Tony Blair wrecked the country. Why do we now have Judges and the legal system instead of Parliament as the last word for removing illegal immigrants . All down to Mr Blair. Keeping his mates in jobs.

Add the various Lib Dem numpties to the list too when they were in coalition.!
So in summary, since Maggie, not a single Politician deserves applause and yet she is vilified by some quite unfairly when it is official that various Labour leaders (even the sensible post war Atlee) closed more mines than she ever did!
