A 1950s summer day in the beautiful Saltwell Park

Saltwell Park, Gateshead was a popular place that families visited when I was a little lad many years ago. There was lots to do and see in that Park. Shame Hebburn hadnt copied it and utilised one of our 4 lakes as a boat lake with a kiosk selling Fionda's Ice cream.
