Another independent school closes

Sadly, Our Lady’s,, originally Our Lady’s Convent School an independent school opened 164 years ago in my town, has today announced it is closed. Parents will now have to find a school before the autumn term for their children. My neighbours grandson attends so the will be quickly trying to sort another school out for him. I know it’s not the first and won’t be the last, thanks to Bridget Phillipson. Well it might put a smile on her miserable face. The politics of envy.

Sheila, lots of schools are now closing thanks Rachel Reeves charging VAT on private school fees, some parents, who could afford it, have paid fees up front in order to avoid paying the VAT, in some cases 5 years but, the Labour Party, again politics of envy, are looking at ways of penalising the parents who have paid the fees in advance, such a cruel thing to do.

This hopeless Goverment is comparable to having the Lunatics in charge of the Asylum
Not a good one amongst them.
We need an election ASAP but they just ignore all the terrible publicity about them and know we'll go away eventually..

Liz, I do know, who put VAT on Private Education, but Bridget Phillipson is Secretary of state for Education and she has made lots of negative comments about fee paying schools, while reminding us she was brought up in a council house with no upstairs heating and a one parent family. She doesn’t tell you her mother had a job in local council. I bet she was given priority in her school. I thought a local North East girl did good, but she is a sour young woman full of envy, but I’m sure she feels better on the tax payers gravy train. The Lord who provided suits etc for Starmmer also gave her £14,000 to pay for her two40th birthday parties.

That’s too sad. That’s children’s lives. It’s a big big thing for a child to change schools. They think they’re the kind ones, they’re not.
