Rayner will receive something in the region of £17,000 to help the poor dear adjust to life without her Ministerial salary, it’s law nothing we can do about it but, still hypocrisy again as Labour were extremely critical when Mat Hancock received a payout when he resigned during the Covid scandal, I do think these payouts should be stopped especially in cases like the Rayner affair she is stepping down because of her own actions.

Will Rayner now be obliged to repay the underpayment of tax? Lammy is now Deputy PM - he is in favour of legalising cannabis - looks like Starmer’s been smoking the stuff after this appointment!!

Carole that is disgusting. She has underpaid £40,000. She paid £30,000 instead of £70,000. So we are led to believe.

Just read in the telegraph she has to pay 40k plus 8% and may face a penalty of 12k
Also the HMRC are going to look into all her tax history

She should be out of Parliament altogether. Would you want her as your MP.

What she did was morally incorrect if nothing else.

Is she now off the Money Tree and have to pay money back to her backers.

An expression heard years ago comes to mind.

About as straight as a bent Banaba.

Had no problem with her until a speech she made bashing probably the Tories, the facial expressions during that.

I thought What a piece of work she is!

However it goes further, the Leaders of the Labour Party lacking to say least.

As Norman has said in the past where did her money come from! Come on you Tax people!
