I didnt want to click on the Daily Mail website to pay to read the story,but that Headline tells us immediately how greedy MPs can quickly become £millionaires at the expense of us Tax Payers.
PS Not sure how old the headline is but we know Mr Bean disagreed with it originally, but is ressurecting it now so that he gets his share.
Most of these Ministers are just in it for the money and thats how Rayner & Reeves & Lammy etc etc are Millionaires already. They are better paid than TV Presenters

I saw the headlines, yet again the odious Tony Blair has his mucky paws all over this scheme, no doubt he will make millions from the Tax Payer yet again, wonder how soon we can get him into Gaza???

The Unite Union are threatening to withdraw support to Labour unless they lean further to the left, to my mind it’s about time Unions looked after their members issues and not interfere in Politics.

So the Britcard will be run on an app made by a company called Multiverse a multi national company founded by……Euan Blair, yes you guessed it, son of the leather faced war mongerer Tony Blair. His stakes in the company are valued at £375m. Tell me this isn’t for the benefit of the so called Marxist Elite with their Fabian roots! The other prat in the photo is the author of the Law guidebook about implementation of European human rights in British law. Tell me it’s not a long planned and disingenuous control system these lizards have had on their table for over 30 years. It makes me sick

It just smells of corruption, I just wonder what Starmer’s rake off is going to be?

This Government is totally corrupt considering they more or less said they would be squeaky clean, thing is no Government has been without corruption just seems this one is more corrupt.

Maybe it is time for Reform or whoever to come out and say if they are elected into Power they will immediately scrap this total nonsense, wouldn’t it be nice for TB and his grasping family to loose lots of money??

I saw some of that too Bob. They just can’t be trusted. We live our lives abiding by laws paying our hard earned money to them, what for?

I don’t know who the Bob Smith who posted at 1.22 on 28/9/25.
It was not me since I tend not to contribute to anything that relates to politics- I simply (jokingly) posted a photo of my old ID card with a smiling emoji.
However, I will make a comment on politicians.
Why do they want to be politicians.? My opinion is that the majority are in it for money, power and influence.
Examples of two exceptions are Norman Tebbitt and Dennis Skinner who I believe were both men of principle.
Furthermore, I do believe in the use of ID cards - it seems ok in some other countries. I also believe that the id cards should have fingerprint and dna data on them and that fingerprints are recorded for anyone entering the country.
Now, that’s the blue touch paper lit.

I most certainly did not vote this current Government into office, I just hope those who did vote them in now regret their decision, the country will take a long time to recover once the next Election has taken place.

Listening this morning (for five minutes ) to Rachel from Accounts, it’s still all the Tories fault. I think a lot of voters foolishly voted to punish the Tories, which I can’t blame them. The Tories lost their way.

Unfortunately in my constituency, which had been Tory since god knows when but, the sitting MP at the last Election was a too complacent hence quite a few Tory votes went to Reform which resulted in the Conservatives loosing the seat to a Marxist Green Party candidate who thinks more about Gaza than her own constituents, hope she is booted out at the next Election.

Our area was always Tory, it was Airey Neave’s seat until he was murdered by the IRA. Later the boundaries were moved and it seems it is mostly Lib Dem. Once or twice a Tory MP. With the thousands of new houses built in this area I wonder if it will change anything .
