A sunny header before winter

As the weather here in Hebburn is still unusually sunny, I thought we'd go to the beach and make our ex pats home sick

As you will figure, this is what we called 'The little beach' between the Groyne & the Pier. Today its called 'Sandhaven', but in older times it was 'Herd Sands'.
