Why has it taken so long?

This vehicle is using battery power in the early 1900s.

A while ago I read about a new Battery that was safer than Lithium Batteries that can overheat & cause fires. Imagine how many people on a Commercial aircraft have a phone that potentially could overheat & catch fire which has happened when a dodgy cheap battery caught fire.

If you google Sea Water Batteries, it looks like they are working on this new technology that in the photo above isnt so new.

It would have been suppressed by oil and automotive companies, the same way Tesla was sabotaged by Edison, a man notorious for stealing credit for inventions.
