Nothing that I have ever said to anyone has been personal except on one occasion 7 months ago when I was rather ill and under great stress.
I have apologised 3 or 4 times for that error but you continue to bring it up time after time again.
My comments on the 1500’s painting are valid if you think about it. That pen and ink drawing done in recent times but Q how recent. It’s an excellent interpretation of what Newcastle may have looked like way back.
As for the Bow photo the photo yours but the wording underneath most probably the newspapers, see their website.
So somebody is not posting say a photos because it may be discussed and if written item it may be disagrees with. Is not the whole point of the board to widen our knowledge and comment does that to a large extent.
Be careful that you do not prevent people discussing items on the board.
You are the only Forum visitor who has a reputation for annalizing posts as if you are an expert and you certainly aren't. You did the same with Mac Cummings's old Newcastle sketch today making TWO people unhappy with your expert analysis 's within an hour or two. When I take the trouble to search for header photos to keep the board interesting people appreciate it. No one else goes through it like a dose of salts questioning it and finding that I might have taken one photo a few days earlier not the day before. I took the photos 56 yrs ago.
