Did the shipyards Swans, Palmers and Leslies all produce different types of ships?

Swans and Leslies built all types but Palmer's Hebburn built mostly cargo and tankers while Palmer's Jarrow was cargo and tankers but also naval vessels. But remember Jarrow Palmer's closed in 1933 and Hebburn Palmer's stopped building to concentrate on repair in 1931.

Hebburn Palmers built ships in the dock during 70s/80s Peter.
That said when did APP purchase it?
The timber business that's adjacent to APP,housed were the fabrication sheds in the 70s and were most modern in Europe at that period.
