Hebburn Lakes & Slag Heap area 1937

Infront of the Slag Heap is where Windermere Cres Estate was built 1950-51 ish. This photo is thank to the 'Britain from Above' website & the locations are as usual added by me.

Another good photo. It just shows how in the last 80 plus years Hebburn has become swamped by housing estates at the expense of green land and industry.
