Hi Peter. Somewhere down there on the right hand side my aunty Lucy worked in Maynard's sweet shop My mum often took me to visit her sister and I always came away with a bag of 'bullets' .Loved it !! ( mid thirties )

Hi Liz. This is our word for sweets no matter what shape or taste,, apart from liquorice,chocolate,etc, I would think?

I thought that might be the case, ask someone down south if they would like a bullet they probably think you were going to shoot them!!
