A little bit of Shields history

The 'Olympia' was roughly where the Fairground is today, and anyone under 100 will not remember it. Not even 97 yrs old 'our Bob Noble'

and Joan Cook who was on the board recently and is 102 next birthday.
As usual I researched and added information to the photo.

Like you say Norman people under a certain won’t have know of tge existence of an Ice Rink in South Shields certainly was an impressive building.
