Jarrow, Hebburn & Felling Boys football team 1954-55 season

Thanks to friend John Grewock for this photo from his friend & regular Board Visitor John Coltman.
Ive added some names that were with the photo. I went through school with George Armstrong who became an Arsenal Football Club Legend. I also recognised Jimmy Maine a Electrician at Wardley Colliery & I also knew Syd Linskill when I was at RW Transmissions years later.
If anyone can help with first names, I can add them to the photo. One Question! What colour was that strip??? as John would like it colourised.

The one named as A.Bowna (JGS) is Richard Bowman.

My mother worked in Bowman's shop on Albert Rd and remember they had a son Richard and 2 or 3 daughters.

The strip was blue with yellow sleeves.

From memory i would say cobalt blue but it was a long time ago.
