Sunday at the Quayside

As today is the day the Quayside Market is on in Newcastle, I thought I'd put this one on from between the wars.I'm sure a lot of us visited this Sunday Market to hopefully get a bargain

Loved going on a Sunday morning .Seem to remember one stall selling bedding a crowd round him he shouted the price put your hand up he threw it to you lad came for money .It was a great trip out .

There was an escapologist called Will in the 50's. Crockery going cheap. Great days, and the lift in the Tyne bridge worked!..

Paddy's Market was further down the quayside from the quayside market, Paddy's market sold second hand clothes, shoes and other used items.

I think that something special was going on perhaps the arrival of a famous Warship.
Although indistinct is there also a crowd on the Swing Bridge?
