There is more protests about another one proposed in Jarrow, this one has online petition with six hundred signatures.
That is a lot of objections.
The planning application cites its target tenants are professionals.

A petition will probably be disallowed by the Planning Department unless it clearly states the objection, includes the specific application reference number, and is signed by local residents, ideally with at least 20 signatures. Focus on material planning considerations like traffic, design, or noise rather than personal grievances. Petitions can be submitted online or in person to the council.

Liz, I and another friends have communicated with Rosemary, but sadly all very quiet.

I’ve known Rosemary from Primary school and always known her and parents and family as Cummins, then a relative through marriage insisted the family were Cummings. I never said anything as Rosemary is a very private person and a dear friend.

There is no known family connection Elizabeth so I have no info....sorry.
This issue of the name with or without the "g" causing confusion within families is fairly common. Illiteracy in the 1800'S was one and mistakes by census officials another because the pronunciation of Cummings in Jarrow was regularly Cummins.
Nevertheless I hope that your search for Rosemary is successful and that she is still hale and hearty

There used to be a lady called Joyce Cummings that was a regular on Mike Ellisons site (which Vicky Lawlor took over when Mike packed in.) I think she was on here a few times at first(2016-17) but I havent seen her posting for years. That blooming Face Book steals lots of people doesnt it???
