History Lesson about the 'Bomb Factory' & related Industries

Until not many years ago I'd never heard of a 'Bomb Factory' (Bedewell Works) in Hebburn or other war related factories in Jarrow. When I did find out I found it was there before Baker Perkins. Baker's moved into it after WW2 ended. This scan is from a booklet Hebburn man Colin McFadyen kindly loaned me a few years ago All this happened thanks to Sir John Jarvis the Surrey Tory MP who was so moved by the 'Jarrow Marchers' he wanted to help.What a great man he was and bear in mind he wasnt Labour MP.
