My Teacher at St Aloysius flew in these Fighter Bombers ww2

This brilliant video is a real history lesson about the wooden Mosquito fighter bombers we used in WW2.
They flew ahead of our big Bombers and dropped Flares to mark out the targets.
Ive just recently found out one of my Teachers at St Aloysius was a WW2 Navigator in the Mosquito's and will tell you all about it in the next day or 2. I thought maybe watch this video before I tell the story.

I had the good fortune to work on a surviving Mosquito in the late 1980's, one of the very few surviving aircraft.

Affectionately known as the "Mahogany Bomber", although a lot of it's structure was other woods, including Balsa wood!

And powered by TWO Rolls-Royce Merlins (as used on the Spitfire & Lancaster) it was SUPER quick..

I won't spoil your story by revealing the teacher's name but he was a friend and colleague of my father.
