!st Class postage costs

Today the price of a 1st class postage stamp is going up to £1.80p The primary cause for the increase is said to be because of dwindling usage by the public. Somehow I don't think this fix is going to work.

I was charged £1.90 at Hebburn Post Office today, absolutely ridiculous the price to post a Road !

That's shocking!

Now I understand why the cost of shipping things on eBay from the UK to the US is so astronomical now if just posting a letter is nearly £2!

Here in the US a first class stamp is currently $0.78, so about 60p, by way of comparison.

Petrol prices might shock you aswell AJG

Average price for Petrol in our area is 169p per ltr so multiply that by 5 lrs in a gallon & that makes it just short of £8-50p per gallon.
