Its getting expensive having days out with the kids

I was sent this by a friend to post on here as it shows the prices families have to pay on a day out.Not sure we should have to pay to visit the likes of St Paul's Cathedral though.

Wow! I used to live quite close to Kew Gardens back in the 90s. I think admission was under a tenner back then. Nearly fifty quid to get in now!

I seem to recall that back in the 70’s and 80’s there used to be a box at the gates and you put in I think a pound or something like that.

I'm fairly certain that when I was visiting my Aunt in London in 1970 some of those attractions were either a couple of shillings/pence or no entry fee was charged.

This graphic was also shown on a Restore Britain Post yesterday to show how expensive it is for working people to take their family out compared to beneficiaries.
