How safe is Hebburn these days?

I was just thinking this morning about how when I lived in Hebburn, and was visiting it during the 1990s, it was a pretty safe little town. I know things can happen anywhere, but I thought nothing of walking the streets at night, going to pubs like the Banks O' The Tyne, the Longship and so on, walking through the Shopping Centre at night, etc. There was never any bother as far as I recall.
What is it like now? Is Hebburn still safe to walk around at night? Last time I was there (2019) it still seemed fine during the day but I never really walked around after dark so didn't get a sense of it.
It is still quite safe, however you get gangs of youths on bikes hanging around and riding like idiots around the shopping centre at night. Of course you never see a Police Officer these days .,
I have held back answering because I dont get out and about on a night time Andrew. We dont see the Police around like we used to and as you will have read on here there are illegal invaders in all our towns. None of them were escaping danger, just wanting to share what us Brits have created over hundreds of years. We see masked up men on electric bikes riding around during the day putting two fingers up to our laws.We had a large shop called 'Farm Foods' that decided to close down because of masked up men running in and grabbing whatever they wanted & then running off. I think its a bit of a Lawless town because we rarely see the Police. A board regular (Tom Barker) went to visit Hebburn Hall where the old Infirmary was & was told aggresively by the Middle Eastern Inva ders living there 'This is Private property. leave' The old Hebburn area you remember is gone.
