A piece of our history from many years ago and it mentions a name we've heard before ie 'Charlie Sculler'.I didnt know his sculler boat service lasted so long.

Reading more about the Torrance shipbuilding company whetted my appetite for more. There appears to have been a phenomenal number ships built by by Torrance and co. They had a preference to begin the names of all their ships with the letter S. Can someone quantify roughly how many were actually built. I have come across some figures but find them to be difficult to believe.
