More houses planned for land in Hebburn. There will be very little green space left in Hebburn soon.

The way things are going there will be no green space left in the UK, constant building on farm land, has it never occurred to anyone that we, in the UK, need to be fed when there is no grieving field left who will feed us.??

Absolute disgrace one of the few green fields left in this area, left to this council it definitely will go ahead, (Back hand billy) comes to mind, without a shadow.

(1950s) Cuthbert St replaced by a jungle.
My Dunn grandparents lived across the road from you and all those properties are all gone as you can see.

That's a great question Andrew.
Why did the Council turn streets of houses into a forest of trees then turn a lovely green field into a housing estate?
Very strange.

At some point the infrastructure of Hebburn is going to be completely overwhelmed by the people from all these houses. I have heard rush hour on Victoria Road West is pretty horrendous as it is!

This Council will be seeing all the £££££ signs extra Council taxes from a large Estate will bring in for them.
No thought about Hebburn being wrecked.
Surely our Councillors should speak up.

Have they built houses on Carrahars field yet?We lived at Riverside Cottages but I expect our place to be razed to the ground by now!

Here is a recent aerial view showing the area where you once lived Elizabeth. You should be able to pinpoint where Riverside Cottages were in relation to where the Lead works were .
