Does anyone know if Bob Mortimer is still about?

I think you mean Barrie Mortimer Sandra.
I have tried a few times over the years to get intouch with him via his email address. He lived on the Scottish Borders at the time he was a regular on the board.I fear the worst.

There are quite a few people who used to be regulars who don’t contribute any longer such a pity as, like Norman says, we can only assume the worse.

Liz there could be a few departed and Norman wasnt told. However, this board is a daily routine to lots of folk including me!

Barrie Mortimer's mother was a Tungate & they had a shop on Station Rd when we were kids & it was just down from the traffic lights on the left.

Stan, you are right the unfortunate thing is one day we will be missing but, that’s life and we have to enjoy each and every day we have.

Morbid isn’t it, that’s why I take every day as it comes and do whatever I can, to my mind life is far to short so enjoy it.
