British Justice

A teenager on an illegal electric bike and whilst under the influence of drugs and riding whilst on his mobile kills a pensioner on a pedestrian crossing, he only gets 6 years and 9 months in prison but will serve less than half that, what a joke, a total disgrace !

I saw that case on TV last night Mac.The law needs changed to stop anyone riding around on these 'Electric Motorbikes' that can do 45mph. They dont need a road fund Licence or Insurance so its given the idiots a great way to do whatever they want & escape on their bikes & the Police cant catch them
Ive seen young men all masked up so you cant identify them riding dangerously around our area.
I was in a queue at the traffic lights on Victoria Rd West heading towards Jarrow & one of them came down the outside of the queue & turned left into Station Rd when the lights were still on red.
I recently saw two of them riding alongside each other in the middle of the road all masked up talking to each other and they get away with it because theres no Police around.

In Derbyshire the Police have "no argument" immediate seizure and destruction powers. And it works!
I live only 100 yards from the border with Staffs. The Police there do not have the same powers. And it shows.....they are ridden with impunity!!

I agree with you Norman, down here we have the same problem but it all falls down to the stupid government for allowing this to happen.They are not required to sit any test on road rules, have no insurance..We recently got an electric ride on for my wife which had to be registered and show a licence plate, it insures it for "THIRD PARTY" but no e machines have to do this!!

Just seen 3 morons on 2 e-bikes coming out of a no entry sign onto Victoria Road and then onto the pavement outside Durham Court.
When was the last time anyone saw a Police Officer not in a Police Car ?

I cant remember seeing a Police car on our Estate Mac .
I've seen cars racing through our estate using it as a shortcut, avoiding the traffic lights & its often young women.Ive heard people say women are worse than men for speeding nowadays.
