Can anyone recognised these Clegwell boys from the early 60s????? Maybe dad, uncle or even grandad?

Welcome to the board aswell Billy. Its nice to see a new name. I remember hearing about a man in the early 1900s that ran a sculler boat service from what is now Hebburn Marina area to Walker & his name was Charlie Stubbs.His nickname was Charlie Sculler! any relation?

My Stubbs family lived in Hebburn from 1870 and we did have a Charles Stubbs but he was a miner as were most of the family

Charles Stubbs also ran the 'Albert Hotel' on William St-Albert st corner next to the old 'Gem' cinema.
