Wes Streeting and the Eu
Posted by Thomas Buglass on 17/5/2026, 2:15 pm
If Streeting wins the Leadership race he’s talking about the UK going back into the EU. The electorate must remember that we would have to change our currency to the EURO, as countries that have joined the EU in the last few years have had to change.
It’s amazing how people forget about democracy when it suits them, to return to the EU another Referendum would need to be held if, and god forbid it should happen, the vote was to return the terms and conditions offered to us by the EU would be horrendous, one if the main things, as Thomas points out, would be having to give up our currency and join the dreaded Euro.
It’s such a pity that following the Referendum we had Theresa May in charge with her side kick Oily Robbins both strong remainers, they did not negotiate a very good deal for us, come to think about it not one of the following PM’s negotiated a proper deal that works in our favour not the EU’s and sorry to say this that includes Boris. We need a person who truly believes in Brexit to negotiate a proper deal for us, why do we have to put up with Starmer et al negotiating with the EU, then agreeing to pay them exorbitant amounts of money so that we can buy their goods, just madness.
When these numpties came into power, Brexit was already in place as the majority of voters decided. Whatever state Brexit was in, it became their responsibility to administer and make it work to our advantage. Liz is quite correct in that, if we returned to EU control they would treat us like dirt and milk us dry. Starmer and his cronies re too thick to realise that.
WELL SAID TOM. I don't think Streeting has done a proper job where you go out to work for an Employer and get paid. He is another clown in the Liebour Circus.
