'D Day' 82 years ago today

This day the 6th June 1944 was known as 'D Day'.
Here are some facts about it and also a photo of a Mosquito in action.Could Joe Carrol be the navigator? as he was in action on D Day.The white stripes were added to show it was a British aircraft.

It’s such a pity that each year that goes by the coverage gets less and less, yesterday GB News interviewed some of the veterans who are in Normandy, it was amazing one of those interviewed was 102 he was so alert for his age, the pity is he doesn’t know if he will be back again next year, all so sad.
