Gerry Roberts our Hebburn ex-pat friend and Business owner in Colorado, USA, intends to bring much needed work to his hometown area with his Hydrus micro hydro power turbine designed to recover energy from water that runs through pipes every day aswell as from stream/rivers etc. Below is a blue painted very expensive competitor that weighs nearly 1 ton (2000lbs) and needs a lot of space for installation.At least 12ft x 8ft with lots of maintenance .
The photo below shows Gerry's Hydrus on test in the factory. The Hydrus is half the weight of the rival and requires a space of just 3ft x 4ft and needs very little maintenance and it's a lot easier to move if needed. Well done Gerry for wanting to help your hometown area.
