10 years ago I had this photo on the Forum

As Ive said in the Title, this Quay class photo was on my Forum and the little lad in the centre of the middle row Bob Noble got in touch with me. He said he's on the photo but because his family didn't buy a copy ( that happened a lot because people were hard up in those days) this is the first time he's seen himself in his school days. I sent him a good copy after hearing that & then Bob became our oldest regular on here.
He's just rang me today to say he's been poorly recently but will be back posting soon. He's going to be 99 yrs young in October & will be having a Party & everyone there will get a '99 ice-cream'

The Lad called Laws wonder if he was called Tom my aunty married a Hebburn man with that name .Date would be near .

In the 1910 Rates List for Hebburn there was 5 properties where Laws people lived & 4 of them were in Pit Houses.
A wealthier one was John Laws and he owned his property 75 Argyle St

Thanks just remember Tom Laws who married dad's sister Katie she died in her fifties two daughters seem to remember they lived Marion drive Pelaw last I remember was1964 they had the Dun Cow Pub just as you leave the the Tyne Bridge on the left then over to Gateshead went to see them then I moved .

Wonder if the Javan shown in the back row was Bob Javan, an ex works colleague ? (Javan is not a common surname I don’t think) !

Forgot to say it’s the 1939 Census and maybe it would help?
