Another photo from my mobile phone showing Sandhaven Beach looking south towards Trow Rocks.
Hope I'm not making our expats Homesick,

What a marvellous beach isnt it? & better still we have no sharks in the water

those photos were taken in June, that is your summer?? so where are all the beach loving families?.

The 6 weeks school holidays start later in July and through August Colin. I don't think the beaches will get as packed as the old days because of foreign holidays in guaranteed sunshine.
With us being local we don't realise how good a Holiday in Shields must be for visitors
