After reading what Margaret McDonald (a Local History Club lady) said, I thought I'd try and help. Say whether it is maiden or married names for ladies please.

Could that be a Reyrolles mixed Hockey Team?
I have a Reyrolles football team from 1921 with what looks like the same strip. Here is an example.

That shirt looks very similar Norman!
I have been looking through some newspapers quietly on findmypast to find some names but focusing on Jarrow at first.
Hockey seems to have been very popular and mixed teams were a surprise to me.
I did think that if I found a few names and then checked family trees someone's photo might connect with a name and photo. It's quite a longshot though I know but I do enjoy it here and there in spare moments.
Maybe Ai will name people eventually, although I have had some fun on my computer when the photos app has tried to name people!
Reyrolles hockey also a surprise. They had a lot going on for the workers at Reyrolles. I think my dad took advantage of that.
That is such a clear photo it would really be a shame not to name a few people.
