Hood Street and Ellison Street, Hebburn back lane in the 1930's, probably for the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1937.

Morning Peter another great photo thank you .My Dad and his 3 brothers and 3 sisters all were born at 21 Hood Street. Nana was there till it was demolished.The tall lad on the right is so like my dad could have been one of his brothers ? . Dad was born 1917 a couple of the brothers younger .Was hoping to spot my Nana no joy .The likeness to my Dad is definitely a connection . The surname is Burke no one to ask all gone sad .

Many thanks Norman.No relation on either photo .Remember a Billy Mcbarron he would be around 80 married Wendy symm.As you know Norman lovely George Young his brother in law was my Dad's brother the lad on the photo could have been maybe him Tommy burke senior ? .Shame we will never know .
