Illegal bikes.

Halfwitted young idiot raced past Hebburn baths.this afternoon must have been doing at least 20 mph enough to do real damage or even worse to anyone coming out especially young ones, the police should set up a special squad specifically to get rid of these feral idiots,

They have but they hit the real problem spots where there's multiple incidents. Report it because complaining about it on here I'm afraid won't make a difference

Family History Group members leaving The Hub last night at 9.00pm had to move back quickly as there was 1 bike 2 riders going at excessive speak across the front of the building. Frightening really. Most of us are not young.

These bikes and scooters should be banned altogether, get them off the roads and pavements.

here in Queensland they have been banned with police given powers to confiscate and destroy them.Should have been done years ago.

PS had a legal e bike over five year now never a problem, so I certainly wouldn't ban all electric bikes Thomas, just the naughty ones,😒😒😒😒

From what Ive seen in our South Tyneside area it is becoming a bit lawless due to the lack of Police on the streets. We need more Police before it gets worse.

Maybe this is something people can petition the new South Tyneside Council for. Perhaps they can request more coverage from Northumbria Police.

Report the incidents. Police react to hotspots trouble wise. If you don't report it,it's not getting registered society as far as tge law us concerned it didn't happen.

as a teenager in Hebburn standing talking to pals on Argyle St we would often see 2 police officers walking down the street, we would shut up just incase we were accused of saying some thing we shouldn't.

Pc Henry would have done you for pavement riding and parkie Mr O Rourke would have had your bike spikes with his walking stick for riding in the park!
