The varying costs at the fuel pumps

I don’t know what fuel prices are like up in the north but here in Herefordshire they are varying greatly, yesterday we drove by a petrol station that was selling fuel at £1.539, this morning not 3 miles away another petrol station was selling fuel at £1.396 such a difference in price the reason can only be profiteering, guess where the queues were??

The difference most probably was based on the cost of the last bulk delivery to the two sites.

Oh no Mac the fuel station with the lower costs only opened about 9 months ago it was bought out and completely refurbished, it has a shop and garage attached to it, the opening cost per litre were £1.229 it remained at that price for quite awhile then the price went up, the highest it has been, since they opened, has been £1.469. The other petrol station also has a shop attached but for some reason their price always seems to be on the very high side.

I guess as a local you know which one is consistently high!
