Commiserations to England

Such a pity for England but no shame for them.

Yes, indeed. An honourable game, but they just seemed to relax in the 2nd half, and Argentina upped their game.

But well done, anyway.

Argentina were the dirtiest team I have ever seen, how no serious injuries were received by the English Players I will never know !

Don’t you find it funny that the Argentinian players go on about England but lots of these hypocrites play in the UK, obviously England can’t be so bad??

Argentina for Mac H and all

When Argentina moved from intimidation mode to football mode they shone and in the end the best team won(helped by Tuchel and negative defensive tactics in the closing minutes).
Although "dirty" you have obviously forgotten Leeds United in the 60's and 70's when the Leeds players were masters of the art!
Anyway. I am a great football fan. I wanted England to win but you know it isn't the end of the world to come 3rd or 4th.
Good to see Big Dan getting his time in the limelight. An excellent acquisition by NUFC of a local man who really wanted to play for NUFC and still does.
Also good to see Anderson as another product of the North East to make us proud. Only a pity that the financial rules caused us to have to sell him for £30M. I hope that all works out for him at Man C.
