This is for new visitors who havent heard of the 'Theatre Royal' in Hebburn.
I was born 1944 & started going to the Saturday matinees with my mates late 1940s as we lived just a stones throw from it on Lyon St. It was showing Films by then but when it opened in 1897 it was a Music Hall/Theatre.Below is one of their 'Flyers' to tell you what's on.
