Seen on news this morning,There clamping down on illegal e bikes, some reaching 50 mph they are a total menace, let's hope south tyneside police start doing the same, (don't hold your breath though).

I have been told, rightly or wrongly, the Police policy on these bikes are to apprehend if it is safe to do so. Unfortunately most of these idiots are itching for a chase from the police and it is thought the danger to the general public is too great a risk. Personally it sounds like kop out by the police.
