Large American plane

Posted by Sheila on 7/9/2026, 12:19 pm

A large plane has been circling the area and people were asking about it. Amazing lots of information from the locals. It is a
an American B1-Lancer bomber, circling to use fuel, before heading to RAF Fairford. Someone said they carry 25,000 gallons of fuel.

Those American Bombers are based at RAF Fairford because of the war in Iran.

Yes different people were posting the same Norman, they are an incredibly large plane. Quite a few people are retired from RAF Abingdon, as it once was before it closed and the Army took over, so a lot of interest.
